How you can join our group

We are always keen to recruit new birth companions. Women who are interested in joining our group should contact us. We ask people to complete an application form for membership and provide two references. We also ensure police checks are carried out on all our trainees and active Birth Companions. All our trainees receive thorough training which ensures they are fully aware of how we work and the needs of the women we work with.

NOTE: potential trainees might need to go on a waiting list as sometimes we do not have trainee vacancies

Women are also welcome to join our group if they are interested in helping in other ways e.g. with fundraising, publicity, publications, obtaining items for women.
