Zahra is a Consultant with over a decade of experience of working in policy, research, engagement, and communications in the voluntary sector.
She has a specific focus on criminal justice, and has worked with organisations including Agenda Alliance, Revolving Doors, Clinks, the Zahid Mubarek Trust, and Action for Race Equality. Zahra previously volunteered in HMP Holloway’s departure lounge supporting women on their day of release, and worked in India for over two years for the Socio-Legal Information Centre’s Reproductive Rights Initiative, advocating for access to contraception and reducing maternal mortality, and ending child marriage.
Zahra supports Birth Companions on policy and engagement projects.
